I'm not sure how these words would play or work in self defined but a couple of interesting words that only exist or have different meanings in Filipino-english dialect.

White Lady

American/European English: woman of Caucasian/Caucasian-descent woman or light skinned woman

Filipino English: White Lady is a colloquial slang for female presenting ghost of apparition. Indigenously known as kaperosa. The most prominent ghost story centering on a white lady is the White Lady of Balete drive in Quezon City. Versions of this story have been around since the 1950s as cars and taxis became more common place in Manila.

** Possible Relation **

I am not sure if this counts as a racial slur and how it connects to white fragility.

Gweilo (Cantonese) literally translates to Ghostly man sometimes translated to white devil. Used sometimes as a derogatory term against westerners.

Salvage
American/European English: To Save items or collect and save items

Filipino English/Taglish: Used colloquially to mean murder/assassinate.

Example

  1. Two Salvage victims were found this morning in paranaque city
  2. Nasalvage kagabi ang binata sa paranaque city

Usage of the term "Salvage" to mean murdered has long origins and is related to a long history of extra-judicial killings in the Philippines. Usage of the term became more common during the Marcos dictatorship as killings and disappearances were used by the regime to silence dissent.
