We use some environment variables across the whole secureCodeBox:

  • SCAN_NAME: variable populated with name of the scan custom resource
  • NAMESPACE: variable populated with the Kubernetes namespace the scan is running in

These are set for all hooks.

We should prefix them with SCB_ to prevent name clashes with such generic names.
