Cpp, java basic modes are not working with the given setup

This project is beautiful. I got tempted to use for my java and cpp code editor
It doesn't work.

Document also doesn't say we have to add base css file in styles.css file which I figured
But then mode = 'text/x-java" or mode = "clike" both I tried and it doesn't work

After two days of struggle, I found the solution..
theme: 'material' was the culprit
Once I removed this option it worked !!!
So please fix that option something is wrong with it.
