Hi random user, you are right: The editor plugin cannot upload whole directory structures. This would have to be done with the native clients (git, svn or hg). Please keep in mind that neither git nor hg can track empty folders. To create folder structures nonetheless, we have the manage folder plugin. Here, you can create single folders. To make this work with git and hg, too, we create small files inside these folders. You still cannot upload whole folder structures in one pass, though. Hope this helps a bit. René |
hello pfeuffer(René), yes you right, usually a developers use an some client-side app for creating files and folders structure. but my case is a user who can't use svn-client softwares for any reasons. and I still can't understand why uploading folders structure via web-interface is so hard for release in scm-server? sorry my bad, I have an svn-type repo, and if you can add this ability only for svn-type repos its will be amazing! |
ok, i have an idea to solve this issue. can you add ability (it can be a button in web-interface) to unpack archive (all steps via web-interface) for example next logic:
