ess.odin
supports Fe
measurement (diffraction) data reduction.
We have tiff files from JParc experiment in 2024, June.
There are open-beam measurement and fe-sample measurement as images (also raw data, binary table before reduced).
Each image represents a certain range of time-of-arrival.
The files are written by roscovision software, which is not standard format in ess so we will not write a loader as a module.
The data is not expected to have choppers.
The ultimate product to be achieved:
- A notebook that anyone can run to reduce Timepix Fe sample measurement
This milestone includes these high-level requirements.
- Data reduction in transmisison mode that computes a binned data to be used for bragg-edge fitting.
- ROI selecting parameter
- Normalization of images with exposure time
- Normalization of sample images with open beam
- Plots of intermediate results (to be decided)
- Exporting methods of result (tiff files)
- Integration test with easyimaging part (to be decided)
