RT data and T1/2 data #6

I may have been a bit wrong with #3

from https://landsat.usgs.gov/landsat-collections

The data is placed in the Real-Time tier and made available for immediate download. Once the data have been reprocessed with definitive ephemeris, updated bumper mode parameters and refined TIRS parameters, the products are transitioned to either Tier 1 or Tier 2 and removed from the Real-Time tier. The transition delay from Real-Time to Tier 1 or Tier 2 is between 14 and 26 days. The follow-on Real-Time processing for Landsat 7 ETM+ and Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS are described below.

My understanding is that when the data is received, it get released as RT data and then they will be replaced by the T1 or T2 data 14-26days after.

☝️ This is also true in the metadata csv. This mean when we update the database we have to look at least 26days from now to see if RT have been updated to T1
