process is not defined after migration to v.3

Hello there! I just finished moving from v.2 to v.3, in dev mode, oddly enough, all env variables work correctly, but after the build I get the error Uncaught error: process is not defined.

These are my dependencies in package.json, I updated them based on recommendations in the closed thread

I moved all env variables to src/environment.js as recommended in the doc.

I found what's wrong)

 const SANITY_STUDIO_API_VARIABLE = process?.env
    ? process.env.SANITY_STUDIO_VARIABLE
    : value

Any mention of process or process.env causes this error
