Summary

Create a new website to host evaluations and content from the SATRE working group

Source

No response

Detail

Background

Proposal

Create a new website to host TRE evaluations, and other content from the UK TRE SATRE working group (WG).

  • PR review for this website will be a lot less restrictive than for the SATRE specification
  • This website can host any content the SATRE WG decide is appropriate, which may include TRE evaluations, possible technical content, meeting notes, people involved in the WG, people/organisations who wish to indicate public support or of SATRE, etc
  • The website will be hosted on GitHub pages (free). The default URL would be https://satre.github.io/satre-website where satre-website is whatever we call the GitHub repository holding the content of the website.
  • We have the option of a custom domain under uktre.org, I think https://satre.ukltre.org would be nice.

Intended Output

Agreement on the new website

This is as a companion site for the specification pages and should highlight ongoing activity within SATRE.

I'm in favour of the principle and will need to pin down a bit more regarding the content of what should (and should not) go on this site. Also with a view of potential new funding.

I like the idea of a uktre.org sub-domain.

Done! https://satre.uktre.org/

We can work on the exact scope of the website later.
