Default auto merge method

Hi,
I am trying to set up a default auto merge method.
There is a --auto-merge-method flag for the atlantis apply command but is it possible to set a default auto merge method for all apply commands?
I tried to use the env var ATLANTIS_AUTO_MERGE_METHOD but it seems that the env var doesn't get picked up by atlantis.

Ok I get it, Atlantis looks at the repo settings to get the default merge method,. I updated the merge method directly from Github and it works as expected.
