I tried to used Korean alphabet but it does not come out right

I use windows 10 and as a test, I put a little bit of Korean letters but nothing come out in pdf.

The whole thing are gone without any trace except a little bit of space...

It seems it does not support CJK?

Do you have any idea how to solve this?

I'm not familiar with the Korean support in LaTeX. You may need to add certain LaTeX packages to https://github.com/rstudio/bookdown-demo/blob/master/preamble.tex

I added the following paragraph in the beginning of preamble.tex

\usepackage{zi4}
\usepackage[hangul]{kotex}

I works okay... but I got several warnings...

Output created: _book/bookdown-demo.pdf
Warning messages:
1: running command '"xelatex" -halt-on-error -interaction=batchmode "bookdown-demo.tex"' had status 1
2: running command '"xelatex" -halt-on-error -interaction=batchmode "bookdown-demo.tex"' had status 1
3: running command '"xelatex" -halt-on-error -interaction=batchmode "bookdown-demo.tex"' had status 1

Do you know what it means?

Never mind. I installed http://mirrors.ctan.org/install/fonts/inconsolata.tds.zip
and Warnings disappeared.

pdf로 변환하면 한글이 안나타나는 문제가 발생하는데

혹시 어떻게 해결하셨는지 알려주실수 있으면 감사하겠습니다.

제 것 소스를 조금 살펴봤는데,

_output.yml에 latex_engine: xelatex 으로 되어 있네요...

xelatex 인스톨 되어 있다면, 이렇게 쓰면 되지 않을까요? 저도 인터넷 어디선가 보고 한 거라서 인터넷에 어딘가 있을 것이라 생각되지만... ^^;;;;

아 말씀해주신거 덕분에 해결했네요 xelatex 인스톨하고 preamble.tex 에 \usepackage{kotex} 만 추가해주니 해결이 되었습니다 find sty 에서 시간이 너무 오래걸려서 안되는건가 했는데 그냥 원래 오래걸리는거였네요... 좋은 답변 좋은 책 감사드립니다.! 2019년 6월 11일 (화) 오후 10:48, Kim, KwonHyun <notifications@github.com>님이 작성:
