Converting Inter to 2048 UPM

I've started work on converting Inter to UPM 2048 in the upm2048 branch, tracked in issue #458

There are two key reasons for this change:

1. Inter Display is designed at 2048 — this change will make it possible to some day merge Display and standard "Text" Inter into one VF.
2. Some old font rasterizers and printer drivers/firmware has bugs that causes issues with certain UPM. (For example see Printing issues with Microsoft Word #156)

Initial work shows promising results with the 2048 version almost perfectly matching the current 2816 version in both shape, tracking and leading. Matching the final output of the current version is important; so that users can simply upgrade without having to adjust their design/software.

What is your process for converting Inter Text to 2048 UPM?

Using the UPM scaling function in Glyphs and then manually adjusting all off-curve handles that got misplaced in the conversion (which are thousands; still working on this.)
