[Question] Add a websocket based STOMP implementation

Hello,
Please forgive me as I'm really new to IoT programming.
Firstly, your project looks amazing and I'd be really interested in using it.
I have a specific requirement for my project. Instead of MQTT I need to use STOMP protocol.
I apologize for opening this thread prematurely, but I'd like some info to make an informed choice.

1. by inspiring myself on the existing MQTT feature, would it be possible to implement STOMP over WebSocket instead?
2. do you think a novice (I'm a full stack web app developer but new to C++) could do it and in this case, would you have some pointers?
