Not working. Undergoing endless loop.
VSC version: 1.11.2
OS: Windows 7

Same situation. Endless loop while trying to save file. with new line being constantly added and removed.
Version 1.12.2, Windows.
Tested on 06.06.2017

I'm very sorry but I don't have access to a Windows machine to try this out. I'm more than happy to have a look at a PR if you'd like to create one, and release a new version
