Chinese characters won't show on iOS

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create an ios (ipad) app with alive pdf to export pdf with chinese characters
2. Exporting (unicode) works fine, but chinese characters are not visible
3. Problem is that Arial Unicode MS is not installed on the iPad.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see a PDF with chinese characters, on windows it works fine.
No chinese characters at all


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest AlivePDF, iOS 8


Please provide any additional information below.
I recommand to use a iOS-compatible font, as Arial Unicode is not on the iPad.
