I think accounts should have an extra layer of protection, so 2FA might be something to look into?
A user could set up their 2FA through the account menu and the admin could have the ability to add permissions for a user to use 2FA if they so desire.

hey!
this was once asked #328
i doubt i'll find myself time to look into it this year, but if you (or someone) would like to work on a plugin, i can introduce necessary API/entrypoints.
I mainly wanted to bring this up again due to the Internet Archive recently being hacked and they didn't have easy to enable 2FA. Hopefully someone can build a 2FA plugin, but personally I lack the expertise to do such a thing and use this product as a consumer. Thank you for the prompt reply nonetheless. ^^
