Describe the bug

When the user taps continously in the edge for sometime the page is getting flickered continously . We recently tried migrating from 2.2.1 to 2.4.0 .

How to reproduce?

  1. Open book
  2. Twice continously for 2 to 5 times
  3. Noticed the page gets toggled continously

Readium version

2.4.0

Android API version

33

Could you share a video showing that you didn't have the problem with 2.2.1?
