I’d like to suggest adding a visual indicator (like a colored notification or a status change) in Workrave to show when a break is paused or when it’s in "Do Not Disturb" mode. Currently, there’s no clear visual feedback indicating that the timer is paused, which can be confusing. It would be really helpful to have an easy way to see this at a glance, especially when switching between tasks or stepping away from the computer.

If I understand correctly, I agree this would be ideal, but I'm not sure what you're saying about DND mode. If you're talking about Microsoft Windows DND, that is not supported until version 1.11 (see ticket #226).
I would argue that there is already a visual indicator of when breaks are paused since the progress bar stops, but I guess it would be even clearer if there was some status message (like "paused by an input device").
