Missing sudo causing module to fail

it seems there is missing sudo if one running module as unprivileged user. cp uses sudo, however ls missing it.

What do you have set for the local_manifests_path?

What OS are you using?
What version of the module are you using?

The 'cp' needs sudo, because in some cases the remote_path is protected. After root/sudo copies the data the list call 'ls' doesn't need sudo because the new location is public.

I'm not sure if this is something related to my terraform setup, however, I can see that /var/lib/rancher has only owner permissions:

$ ls -lad /var/lib/rancher
drwx------ 3 root root 4096 Apr  7 00:44 /var/lib/rancher

thus ls without sudo won't work, as it couldn't traverse /var/lib/rancher directory, if install script executed without sudo.
