There is no built in Have you considered using another software for ground classification? Algorithm provided in lidR are designed for forested areas. Remember the description of the lidR package

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly, it's very much appreciated. The project I'm working on looks to produce a 3D model from a LiDAR data set using any open-source package (R, Python based etc). I will have a go at running Thank you for your help! |

Is lidR capable of classifying buildings (Perhaps individually) or is this achieved another way?
I would like to classify my original .laz into ground, buildings, and trees as separate data. Currently, I see the top surfaces of some buildings in my .laz file being classified as ground when I run
classify_ground().
