I've been able to watch videos while the client is downloading the torrent since the very start. I just need to make sure that I am downloading each file sequentially instead of randomly choosing parts to download, as well as keeping an eye on the download progress bar so that I don't "over-watch" my show.

I did open a PR here (#14234) but it has architectural objections so it will take some time if you really want here is the build with the feature, it says it's version 4.2.5 but it's built on top of the current master. For using the feature just select any video file in the content view, right-click on the file and click Play, it will launch vlc. Use 7zip to extract
build-release.zip
