The deep image prior could be a powerful general method for unsupervised data cleaning, which is also not limited to only images. @tommycwong is currently exploring its limitations and potential artifacts and if he finds it to be a suitable tool for experimental data, it would make sense to add it to the pycroscopy toolbox.
