Latest MacOS(Sequoia 15.5) completely blocking Protege Desktop

Protege 5.6 (or earlier versions) no longer seems to run on MacOS. The old workaround to add as an exception and launch no longer work. Has anyone else run into this?

It might be the security settings since it's not a signed app. You will need to open up system settings > privacy & security and scroll to the bottom to the place where it says "allow protege"
