Akri currently uses the ApplicationName entry as instance identifier this might not be the best choice as according to the OPC-UA specifications (Part 4 7.2), this name is localized, so it may change depending on some locale configuration (maybe even between OPC-UA clients ?).
Considering that, ApplicationURI is a better choice.
I didn't observe that anywhere yet, but I would rather base an ID on a really unique base, and moreover a user might see a different ApplicationName through its own OPC-UA client and struggle to correctly filter by ApplicationName.
