I tried using default download, then mozilla plugin and then tried to compile from source. Each time Export to PDF didn't work. It shows following error in console:

Timestamp: 05/04/2016, 3:58:52 PM
Warning: Expected declaration but found '['. Skipped to next declaration.
Source File: file:///Users/alpha/Library/Caches/TemporaryItems/printing-360481/index.html
Line: 0
Source Code:
[object CSS2Properties]

Export dialog close and didn't show any error.

Hi @nazarhussain ; It "works for me". I'm using 2.0.18.

  • what operating system are you using?
  • what exactly do you do? (step by step from starting)
  • what version of firefox/xulrunner do you have installed? (try with a newer one?)
  • do you get the problem even if you start with a fresh empty file?

If you get the problem with only one file, could you make a copy and experiment with deleting things from it till you get an almost empty file that still causes the problem. If you find out exactly what causes the problem please say so. If you can, please attach an example file which causes the problem.

Here are the details:

OSX EL Captain 10.11.4
Pencil 2.0.6
Firefox 43.0.4 (also tried latest 45.0)

The steps I followed:

  1. Open Pencil from launcher
  2. Save the blank file
  3. Document -> Export Document
  4. Export to PDF
  5. Select Path to save
  6. Press Done

The problem still persist to me.
