What's strange about this is that if you install the babel plugin and then run

Support was added to the underlying parser in this PR. Should be released as of 7.8.0. That said, I think prettier still has a hangup about it, and I'm not entirely sure why. In the typescript-eslint project itself, they ignore files using explicit resource management: |

When using default "typescript" parser and explicit resource management, prettier will raise an error:
