`pixi global install bla` creates empty directory

### Reproducible example

```shell
pixi global install bla
ls -alh ~/.pixi/envs/bla
```

### Issue description

Shows that this un-installable package left an empty dir.


### Expected behavior

It should not leave empty directories.
