I do not think that as of
pixiv0.55.0that is it possible to providepixi clean cachewith an option to target only a specific package. Is this possible to do (technically in the future)?An example of where this matters is if you have a Python package installed that has some buggy behavior and you want to be able to drop into the source files under your
$CONDA_PREFIX/envs/<env name>and directly edit the files for debugging purposes locally (perhaps there are some complex interactions with other packages where it is preferable to use the Pixi environment rather than getting the source Git repo and debugging there). In these situations, your locally edited package can get globally cached, and if youpixi cleanyour project and then do a fresh install the cached debug edited package can get installed, which is undesirable.Beta Was this translation helpful?
