postal smtp server is not working with my mailer

Please help guys, my postal smtp server is configured and working correctly but when i create the credentials and set it up with my mailer, it does not sent out emails it say it does not connect with me server, please help on how i can allow postal smtp to send out emails with my mailer

You will have to look at the logs of your mailer or the logs of Postal.

You can try postal logs smtp whilst you test your mailer and see what messages appear in the logs.

If no messages appear in the logs then it can't even connect.

This what i am getting from the logs, i am seeing authentication failure. i do not know how to fix this

535 Invalid credential

There is only one cause of that and that is you haven't put the right password in the mailer.

If you base64 decode the value you redacted, you can compare that to the SMTP credentials you have in the Postal UI and you can see where it is going wrong.

The credentials are working with online smtp testers but when i use with any mailer/sender it does not work. i do not know if there is a place i need to allow the mailer work with the smtp
