Before you start please confirm the following.

Problem Description

When I try to create a stack from a git repository
And the repository has a lot of references (50 000~)
The page crashes in Firefox browser.

Expected Behavior

When the app is loading the references and there are too many, it does virtual scrolling or pagination or falls back to a simple input field, however it does not crash.

Actual Behavior

The app crashes.

Steps to Reproduce

Create a new stack from a repository (on GitHub) that has a lot of references.
Try to select a reference.
Observe the page crashing. (not responding anymore)
