Hello. I am trying "Engarde" for the first time and I have problems connecting a windows 11 client to a windows 7.
I have no problems connecting directly with wireguard. I have successful ping. With the same configuration I tried to connect from "engarde-client" MacOS without problems to the same windows 7.

Hello @manueldev ,

thank you for your interest in engarde. Unfortunately I remember this is a known issue with Wireguard for Windows: for some reason, it does not like at all having "127.0.0.1" as an endpoint. I tried getting in touch with them but I got no answer. I personally use TunSafe on Windows and it works fine.

I'm thinking now that you MAY have luck using one of your local IPs (192.168.1.103 or 192.168.5.3, as I see from your screenshot) instead of 127.0.0.1, but it's just an idea and I'm not sure if it will work. I would stick with TunSafe for now.

Please let me know if this solves for you.

Thanks!

Wireguard+Tunsafe direct works:

Windows 11 Tunsafe Client

Windows 7 Wireguard Server

Wireguard+Tunsafe through engarde fails:

Windows 7 Wireguard Server + engarde-server

Windows 11 Tunsafe Client + engarde-client
