import and parser overloading rely on those getting fixed:

chicken : BUG: sys.modules['sys'] not pointing __import__('sys')
micropython/micropython#4923

egg : BUG: sys.modules['__main__'] not pointing __import__('__main__')
micropython/micropython#4427

communicating with host at high level rely on :

missing sys.{excepthook,displayhook}
