How do you get plausible CE 2.1.4 to create a ssl certificate when no proxy is used

Just installed a fresh installation of Plausible CE 2.1.4, but even though the wiki says that the proxy is not needed and Plausible is able to manage ssl certificates automatically, no ssl is generated.

How can you get Plausible CE 2.1.4 go generate a ssl when no proxy is used?

The certificates are generated automatically if HTTP_PORT and HTTPS_PORT are set to 80 and 443 respectively (step 3 from quickstart). If you share your compose.yml and docker compose logs we might be able to find what went wrong.

I checked back on the server a few hours later, and then the ssl certificates was in place. Could be a cron job that had not yet executed?

So is there a command I can execute on the container that generates the ssl certificates, in case I experience something similar in the future?

The certificate is generated on startup. There is a certificate renewal job but it's unrelated to the initial certificate issuance. There is a command to force certificate renewal (in case of a leak) you could call, but it won't help here -- it has already been called on startup if the configuration is correct.
