Assigning a user to a task

Hi there,

I found Planka looking for a good alternative to Asana. Although Asana's free platform is extremely generous and feature-packed, I'm trying to move toward OS and self-hosted apps for data retention and privacy.

With that said, this looks like an amazing app. I played with the demo for a little while and I'm very impressed. Great work! Compared with Asana, I think the tasks could use some help. Currently on Asana, I assign a user to a specific task and that task can have sub-tasks. I don't see any option like that here. Is that something in the works? Thanks!

Hi there,

You can add users the a whole project = User can see every card (and give edit / R/O Access)
And then you can assigne some card to a specific user. And when you do that you can
filter the view to see only cards from user XY as example. Maybe that helps ?

Hi! In addition to the answer above, we've also added the ability to assign users to tasks in v2. Trying to release it asap.

That's great to hear! I'm aware of the option to assign a card to a user, but assigning tasks to users would be awesome. And subtasks :)
