I would like a functionality that, if I update packages that their approval makes no sense (LicenseFinder detects proper license), or the package is removed for some reason, I'd like for LicenseFinder to inform me of this, and offer me an obvious solution to prune it (e.g., a patch on stdout, or "the new file verbatim" would be nice for CI scenarios)

We have created an issue in Pivotal Tracker to manage this. Unfortunately, the Pivotal Tracker project is private so you may be unable to view the contents of the story.
