install fail #98
Comments
try to overwrite the files on package installation. |
That did not work, I did try uninstalling libcamera via the package manager and this did allow pipewire to finish the install , however this made the system unbootable. My user profile was not available. There were several dpkg error trying the upgrade before the removal of libcamera. |
also getting this one the new install Preparing to unpack .../0-pipewire-pulse_0.3.84-1 dpkg: error processing package pipewire-jack:amd64 (--configure): dpkg: error processing package gstreamer1.0-pipewire:amd64 (--configure): dpkg: error processing package libspa-0.2-jack:amd64 (--configure): dpkg: error processing package pipewire-bin (--configure): dpkg: error processing package libpipewire-0.3-0:amd64 (--configure): dpkg: error processing package pipewire-pulse (--configure): |
/var/cache/apt/archives/pipewire-libcamera_0.3.84-1~ubuntu23.10_amd64.deb This seems to be part of the issue, and uninstalling pipewire from apt wants to remove kubuntu-desktop as well. |
I can reproduce here. Hold the previous version. I will check tomorrow again. It need minimum efforts to fix. running out of time. |
Will do. let me know if you need any more info |
