Installing without docker

I know that there is already a discussion on a similar topic, but after everything, I couldn't find comprehensive documentation on how to install without docker. I don't even know if there is a working build script that can be run or not. I run a server at home and don't use docker for anything and I don't plan to start now so if there is any documentation showing me how to install without docker then brilliant.
