Hello, I just started testing Recogito for an annotation project and noticed that an imported vocabulary is only valid for the document where I uploaded it. Is it possible to use a vocabulary project-wide? I'm trying to annotate a collection of around 4000 photographs of a single city, so the same entities appear throughout the dataset.

Hi, there's no functionality for setting vocabs across more than a single document. If you're willing to spend some den work, I could see two possible options:

  1. automate the vocab upload with a script. (I did that once die a project where we needed to replicate vocabs across a corpus of documents)

  2. set up your own annotation interface, a build your own app based on Annotorious

I wouldn't normally suggest option 2, but given your corpus is so large, and you also inquired about IIIF v3 specifically, it might be a viable option, I guess...
