• Hello! Before I tell you about the bug, I just wanted to say that I've been using this app for quite a while now (a couple of months to be exact). And I thought that sometime within those months that I've been using this live wallpaper app (that's one of the best if not the best), it would've been reported or fixed. Since I see no reports of this behavior in GitHub or in the Google Play Store, I decided to report it myself. (Though I'm pretty new to this so bare with me. Thanks!)

Bug description:

• The wallpaper on the recent apps menu bugs out and resets to the default Pixel 6 Material You Live Wallpaper instead of having the same appearance to the set live wallpaper (see screenshots below). The wallpaper in the recent apps menu only works correctly after I restart my device and the bug reoccurs after a couple of phone unlocks. Note that this behavior occurs when using a launcher. I primarily use this app on Nova Launcher Prime, and experimented on using it on Niagara Launcher and the same bug still occurs. I updated to Android 13, but this bug also happens on Android 12.

Expected behavior

• Uniform wallpaper in the recent apps background.

Sure thing! I'll upload two videos showing the current behavior (bug), and the expected behavior. Note that it triggers when I set another launcher as a default. When I revert to the system launcher, it works for a while. But if I repeat the process, setting it to another launcher then changing it back to system, it won't work properly and stay bugged unless I restart my phone.
