Have better defaults

OSMand has many features, but not all of them always make sense or are useful.
It would be great if OSMand had sane defaults, as many users don't take the time to look through all menus or through settings at all.

For example:
It's great that the default map is very default, but in car navigation, I find them often overwhelming. Yes, I can deactivate certain elements, but it would be great if this was the default and the additional elements could be activated manually.

Would a survey be useful to find out what settings most users select?
Or is this data already available?
