Best method to draw lines on map using sdk

Hello, I am working with the PointsOnMapActivity from the api demo. I have modified the demo so that each favorite updates the live location for each family member. I would like to draw a line between these points when they are updated. What is the best way to draw a simple line on the map between each favorite?
