Depending on the aptititude of the programmers in the organization the notion of code style may be new to many, and so just getting folks to write any kind of comments or doc-strings could be a success. I don't think any of the established styles that you've identified are bad, using any of them would make the code easier to read and understand. I'd shy away from creating some sort of custom style though. |
