Python Style Guide and Linting

As we're improving our presence on GitHub, it's crucial for us to establish a consistent coding style to maintain readability and make collaboration smoother. One key aspect is choosing a Python style guide that aligns with our development philosophy. I suggest we have a discussion here to decide which style guide we should adopt.

Depending on the aptititude of the programmers in the organization the notion of code style may be new to many, and so just getting folks to write any kind of comments or doc-strings could be a success. I don't think any of the established styles that you've identified are bad, using any of them would make the code easier to read and understand. I'd shy away from creating some sort of custom style though.

@elbeejay Thanks! I couldn't agree more. The intention of this poll was to spark the discussion and get the pulse of the community. Depending on the direction, it could be beneficial to include pre-commit hooks in the Template example.
