We are currently conducting tests involving two servers under the same domain: one running SAP Commerce Cloud and the other hosted on Vercel. A Web Application Firewall (WAF) is positioned between the user and both servers to manage and secure traffic.
We have successfully validated the domain domain.com. However, we are encountering technical challenges with validating www.domain.com due to restrictions on modifying the CNAME record.
The DevOps engineer has informed us that changing the CNAME for 'www' is not feasible because it would result in the traffic bypassing the WAF, which is crucial for our security setup.
Can you kindly share your thoughts on how to solve this issue ?
