👋 Introduction:
We’re launching a WG focused on Stacks DeFi primitives. BTC capital deployed in the L2 is the most critical driver of the new Bitcoin L2 landscape.

🎯 Objective & Scope:
This group's objective is to address the missing gaps to build a robust Bitcoin DeFi ecosystem with Stacks and provide data-driven recommendations for what will grow our ecosystem.

DeFi primitives include Onchain liquidity (DEX), DeFi custodian connectivity, robust stablecoins, Oracle solutions, Stacks ecosystem TVL, and more. Our WG will collaborate in some areas to build missing infrastructure items as it makes sense. We’ll also collaborate with the BD WG when integration partnerships may be beneficial.

📦 Deliverables:
Recommendations for Onchain (DEX) liquidity strategy for stablecoins & sBTC
The following deliverables are to be set only after the first is achieved.

📅 Timeline
The first deliverable for sustainable on-chain liquidity will be delivered in April.

We want all DeFi builders in the ecosystem here. Please contribute if you build protocols, AMMs, DEXs, liquidity bots, DeFi products, indexers, etc. This group is exclusively focused on DeFi primitives.

🗣️ Meeting schedule and format:
Our WG will meet monthly for public calls but will operate mostly as asynchronous communications with assignments to each contributor.
