to make it clear we are not letting anyone to do any violating policy things.
As a organisation we tend to receive lot of queries through the email, DM. so these discussion is a great help to manage it.

as you can see in the above link, because of this gamification, contributors also came forward to help. which resulted answering around 1000+ queries on 2 repos. I hope you understood the intentions.
