Webhook and Undelivered mail

Good Morning,
I am using postal and I really enjoy it!
Now, I have a little problem and I don't find any solution from discusssions.

My request is to send mail to the sender if some emails that He sent, failed.
I read on the forum that there is the possibility to receive these messages via webhooks.

I never do it before, how can I setup the webhooks notification? Is the only possibility to receive these informations?

You will need some custom software to receive the webhooks yes, they're all HTTP POSTs.

If you are using some custom software to send the messages then usually this isn't a problem but if you are using something else to send your messages then you'll need something extra.

When you talk about "some custom software to send message" what do you mean?
I use my mail server (Nethserver) that use as smtp server my postal server.

My goal is to receive some alert when an email failed to send.

If I need something extra to receive the post, what can I use? Zabbix is it possibile?

It seems like Nethserver can have a traditional email server with inboxes so I'm not sure what value Postal is adding to you here? I don't think Zabbix would be able to handle incoming messages but I don't know a lot about it.

Postal mostly helps things like websites or printers send messages so doesn't fit every use case.

Do you know if, in some future release of postal, the undelivered message will be notify to the sender?
I really enjoy it! And I do not want to change it only for this :(

At this point may I ask you, if you know some similar software that help me to send mail and have a report?

I don't think this aspect of Postal would change unless the maintainers changed how they work quite drastically but they're a bit quiet.

As I said, I think the software would be custom made for you specifically, I'm not aware of any off the shelf software supporting Postal webhooks in this way.
