Place to store "errorMessages" for DataObjects

Hi there, we use Custom DataObjects which have a couple of fields.

Some of these DataObjects need "Rules" which currently are done by using FieldCollections with several fields like a select or relation to other DataObjects. Basically "if X is chosen, y and z" cannot be chosen anymore.

Question 1
My current issue is, where do I put the text "You cannot do this because....." - The idea was to use a Layout Text Field, in which I just write a generic message that then can be used. Although, I cannot seem to find a way to access this fields content.

Question 2
Some of the DataObjects need generic default text added as per class definition, so a User shouldn't edit this. Where would I put that?

Okay, so i was able to see the fieldcollection thats attached on the dataobject.

This is on the dataobject itself, i was able to access one of the applied field collections, which looked like that:

But as you can see in this image, there is no reference to ruleMessageText

And thats the field i am looking for.

I went ahead and used a FieldCollection Structured Table in which I added the texts to. Not really the solution I was looking for but it works.
