Simplify theme templates and template parts

Current State

• Template names, descriptions, and categories are inconsistent in LSX Design, which makes them difficult to manage or locate when building pages.
• Excess of template parts (headers, footers, etc.). Many overlap in functionality, adding unnecessary complexity. WordPress’ evolving theme system supports modular, reusable templates, simplifying theme structure.

Issues

• Inconsistent Naming and Categorization: Template names and descriptions are inconsistent and not well organized.
• Too Many Template Parts: Redundancy and overlap in header, footer, and other template parts, making maintenance difficult.

Recommendations

• Consolidate Templates: Merge similar template parts and utilize block variations to handle different use cases.
• Simplify: Reduce the number of template parts and only keep essential ones with enhanced customization using WordPress 6.7 features for section blocks (section-1.json).
• Template Name Standardization: Adopt descriptive names such as “Service-Page” or “E-commerce Checkout.”
• Categorization: Group templates under categories like “Business Pages” or “E-commerce” in theme.json.
• Descriptions: Provide clear template descriptions and intended use cases within the theme.json file.
