Describe the enhancement

Currently, we have Online and Offline devices to become more user (developer) friendly, I would request an additional "Template" or "WIP" category. Which is not rely on the state of the device. This category would be used for those YAML files which are not production-ready, so the "Update ALL" feature does not apply to them, and also it makes a more isolated graphically/logically on the GUI.

It can be a flag, and/or a record in the YAML file.

Use cases

• Exclude the device from the Update ALL feature
• Hide/isolate Not hardware-paired config files.
• make the dashboard more organized
• Templates/skeletons for devices
• Suppress the versions of the same device/yaml by the user (flagging config files with names of eg. LedStrip_V1.yaml. LedStrip_blink.yaml, Other_wild_versions_in_the_filename.yaml)
• Visually separate the WorkInProgress config files from the Online/Offline devices, thus the real Offline devices get more highlights.

The dashboard is really for "normal"/"basic" usage of creating a device, flashing it etc.

If you are doing more complex file management, then you really should use a proper file manager / IDE (like vscode), with the esphome cli installed for doing this kind of advanced stuff.

The code-server addon in the community addons comes preinstalled with the esphome cli and can be used for this purpose. You dont actually need the esphome add-on if using the cli elsewhere.

Yes, and no. I think this request is a very basic functionality.... A more advanced would be a category/custom label as in the Ha Core for devices/entites - actually, this advanced method would not be much more effort from implementation pov but would be more universal.... :)
But not the case is here.
So I still think the original usecase is still a valid usecase for my basic usage.
