DDEV Governance should do the opposite of Wordpress

Surely most people have heard by now about the scandal between Wordpress not-so-benevolent Dictator For Life, Matt Mullenweg, and one of the bigger and not-so-good hosts, WP Engine.

Anyway, I'm not looking to open a discussion into that topic. But it has revealed a ton of exceptionally shady (and likely quite illegal) activities by Matt over the decades.

Here's some excellent resources to learn about it all. I hope as DDEV continues to develop a governance structure, it can do the opposite of everything he has done. Both for the health of DDEV, as well to maintain the non-incarcerated status of its members.
