Even after I upgraded the JDK to the corresponding version, I still encountered similar bugs. I tried all versions of the JDK but couldn't resolve the issue. The only solution was to downgrade Copilot to version 1.2.9.2684 to get it working. |

Hey Blue, I thought about that when ready my log file. I pretty much habve the same issue as you and other people in this thread. But I couldnt find documentation or andy post on how to install the previous version of Copilot. I "upgraded" from 1.2.9.2684 to 1.2.13.2776. Can you tell how you did the downgrade/rollback/installation of the old version? |

You can download a previous version of the plugin here GitHub Copilot | Marketplace and then use the “Install plugin from disk” action. |

I am also facing the same issue on IntelliJ Idea 2022.1.2 with Copilot plugin version --> 1.2.13.2776. Here is what the stack trace looks like:
Edit 1: Updated Intellij and Copilot plugin version. Edit 2: Same version 1.2.13.2776 of CoPilot plugin works with Pycharm 2023.1.2 |

Not a solution, but rather a workaround. I've temporarily switched to EAP, and I'm amazed by the new AI Assistant chatbot introduced in the latest version. |

I need to check my license with IDEA to see if I'm allowed to get EAP. Mine stopped automatically updating post 2022 I think. But as of now downgraded copilot works. Yet I face another issue as I need to use my Enterprise GitHub account, but seemingly the Copilot always takes me to the public GitHub server only for signing in, and not to my enterprise server.
